    What are addons?

Addons are basicly what they sounds like. They help enhance any game and add fresh new stuff to it. In Gmod's case it is sometimes very useful to get certain addons. They can add content such as new models, new sounds, better tools, unique interfaces, and more. Most of Gmods community is based on the use of addons and would recommend getting the right ones.

    What addons we run on

We run on the latest and greatest addons we can find. We try to please the users by getting what people like and use commonly, and here on the forums addons can be added through requests.

Here is an expanding list of addons we use -

          ° Wiremod
          ° Phx Storms 3
          ° Ragmod
          ° Assmod
          ° Gcombat

[ if any are missing please IM me about it through steam ]

We also have certain users that are working on creating useful and easy to use addons, so be expecting those in the future!

How to add the addons -

Most addons are uploaded to GarrysMod.org and are easy to download. To install an addon follow these steps -

        1. download the addon
        2. extract the addon from the zip folder or rar folder

if it is rar you either need either 7-zip, WinRAR, or an extractor that can handle .RAR extensions.

        3. move the extracted files to Steam\SteampApps\ *steam username* \garrysmod\garrysmod\addons\
        4. start Gmod up and test it out. If you installed while playing Gmod all you have to do is restart it.

    How to use SVN

First off I will explain how svn works. Svn goes to the site you specify and it downloads all the files from. Yes that is basically what it does. Svn can be good to quickly add addons through "checkouts" and are much simpler than it is credited. Now that svn has been explained you need a program to do it. I recommend that you use Tortoise SVN. Once you have it installed you right click your addons folder in your garrysmod directory and click "checkout". Put ONE svn url into the address and click checkout. it should download the files and put it into it's own folder in the addons folder. Tada your done, a few clicks and you got a mod downloaded.

Here are some of the SVN addresses we used in our server -
